Stamped Concrete & Stamped Concrete Information

Stamped Concrete & Stamped Concrete Information The above project was completed in Sugarland, Texas ~ Alcorn Bend

This Patio may seem like a flagstone patio however it is a special modified
concrete mix ~ Our own version of Stamped Concrete in a flagstone and Grande
Ashlar Slate border design.

Why did the owner decide to utilize our Stamped Concrete Patio? Because they
wanted a flagstone look but as is well known flagstone is by nature a very weak
stone, brittle and cracks easily. Also weeds tend to eventually push their way
through the joints as well as the joints need to be repointed after a few years.

This Stunning showpiece however is 6" to 8" thick, dual reinforced with steel and
fiber reinforcement, 4,500 psi concrete and modified polymers to ensure years of
maintenance free enjoyment.

Real Estate appraiser James Adkins says that," these type residential home
improvements actually increase the property values by up to 10% when a properly
stamped concrete Patio or driveway is installed"

Let our affordable sales and design staff coordinate your next exotic patio, driveway
or new foundation.

Concrete pricing or stamped concrete prices vary depending on the region you live.

New England stamped concrete patio costs generally about $10-$12 per sq. ft.
While California and Nevada costs can run anywhere from $12-$14 per square foot.
Texas stamped concrete costs are the countries most affordable starting at just
$6-$8 per square foot due to the robust economy and local manufactured
materials availability.

Structural Concrete engineer Richard Keelin says that," Homeowners should
exercise caution when choosing a concrete contractor to do concrete stamping
projects due to the specialized training needed for a properly mixed concrete
stamping batch". " Seems like everybody that knows how to swing a trowel is trying
their hand at stamping concrete and unfortunate homeowners are paying the price
for their "on the job Training"
